Our Racing is a registered trading name 344682 with the Companies Registration Office, Ireland.
Our Racing club confers on the Member (for the duration of membership with the Club) certain benefits associated with the horses currently in our breeding programme and selected horses in training .The benefits are as follows:
- An opportunity to follow the progress of every one of the horses owned by Our Racing.
- A person can choose from two types of membership: Full, or trial membership. Full membership costs €250 for a period of 12 months from whatever date the Member joins. Trial membership costs €90 for a period of 3 months or €150 for a period of 6 months from whatever date the Member joins, which can be repeated indefinitely as per trial period. Completion of any number of trial periods totalling or exceeding 12 months, whether consecutive, or otherwise, does not constitute full membership.
- Where available, and exclusive to those Members who have paid for full membership, to receive a share in any of the prize money won by the Our Racing’s selected horses in training in accordance with the terms and conditions herein.
- Whilst there can never be any guarantee of winning prize money identified in point 3., above, all prize money won by the Club’s horses shall be distributed to Members by means of prize draws. The sum distributed to Members per specific race is determined by the relative net total paid to Our Racing Club by Horse Racing Ireland in a given calendar month. Provided there is a minimum of €1,000 available for prizes at the end of each calendar month, a prize money draw will take place at the beginning of the following calendar month. Each draw will distribute all available prize money in the following manner:
- 1st 65%
- 2nd 20%
- 3rd 10%
- 4th 5%
The first prize money draw a Member qualifies for is the one scheduled to take place in the month following the date in which Membership began; the final prize money draw a Member qualifies for is the one scheduled to take place during the month in which Membership expires, unless Membership is renewed before the due expiry date. - Our Racing Club should be enjoyed both as entertainment and, an opportunity to broaden social interaction with like-minded people; it is not an investment opportunity.
- There is no commitment to remain a Member after a trial period has expired for trial Members, or 12-month period has expired for those choosing full membership. If a member chooses not to renew at the end of the respective period, the membership shall expire.
- All decisions relating to the horses, trainers, administration, and general management, shall be vested in the managers of Our Racing.
- Members must be aged 18 or over.
- It is understood by the Member that: Full legal and equitable title to the horses referred to above and all such other horses acquired by Our Racing from time to time remains at all times with Our Racing. At no time does a Member have a legal or equitable interest in any one or more of the horses referred to above (or any share thereof); and all rights conferred to the Member by the Our Racing are personal to the Member alone and may not under any circumstances whatsoever be gifted, sold, assigned, leased, form part of a loan, offered or granted as security to any third parties.
- Progress of horses in the breeding programme and in training shall, in the main, be communicated to Members via the Weekly News section on the Our Racing website.
- Members will be notified of race entries via email and/or text; this information will also be available on the Our Racing website.
- In the event of the club disbanded, all Horse Racing Ireland fees will be paid off as a priority.
- All members agree to receiving e-mails/texts/mail of any promotions been offered by Our Racing club and any of our sponsors.
- Our Racing may change the rules, if necessary, for the benefit of Our Racing Club; any changes will be forwarded to Horse Racing Ireland.
